Nevada, Maybe; DePauw, I Doubt It . . .

I don’t think our administration or trustees would ever let us follow suit. We’d probably shoot each other up in a faculty meeting.

    Frightening… I really don’t think teachers need extra stresses & would rather see that money go to academic research (I’m not trying to trivialize the events that have happened).

    What I think would be inherently more useful is mandatory gun education, maybe done in a series of workshops by a trained professional … point is, if you understand guns & how they work, their weaknesses & gun self-defense, they suddenly seem less scary..

    anyway… I think I’m off to sleep for now…
